  1. As much as I love Diebenkorn’s more abstract work, I am smitten with this landscape. Although his use of color and line definition are more intense, it evokes the same urban-meets-pastoral interactions with the grace and sumptuousness that Paul Klee projected in some of his early work (roughly 1907-1912.

    Thank you for posting such a moving painting.
